New Hire Opportunity
The Pekin Police Department accepts new hire police officer applications every three years or when the current new hire list is exhausted. The current new hire list for a police officer position was posted in March of 2023.

U.S. Citizen
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License
Minimum of 20 years of age at time of application deadline and 21 to 35 years of age at time of appointment, unless otherwise exempt by statute.
